Hachiko Square will be subjected to expansion whereas the terminal taxi stand will be relocated underground. A coach service from Haneda and Narita Airports will be introduced thereby improving access between rail and road. Shibuya station is also being subjected to certain changes which upon completion will enable swift transfer between the city.

To avoid Shibuya from becoming an over organized urban jungle, the Shibuya river banks will be studded with trees to create a refreshing contrast against the concrete towers.
Attracting Creative Talent
To attract more talent in the currently scarcely available office space in Shibuya, a staggering 260,000 square meters of new office space is to be created which will feature specific designs that will reflect the town’s distinct individuality. The Parco building is also said to be scheduled for a re-launch in 2019. The building will be made home to retail stores, a theater as well as various other facilities to attract entrepreneurs as well as creators.
